Needs to be purchased with a single Hearing Aid to receive the transmitted sounds.
Phonak’s Contralateral Routing Of Signal, or CROS, is for those who suffer from single sided deafness. The CROS system works by using a transmitter in the ear with loss to pick up the sounds from that side and sending them wirelessly to a receiver in your other ear. The BiCROS works similarly whilst also providing support for loss you may be suffering in the ear with the receiver.
Accessories
The Phonak Hearing Aids are compatible with an array of Phonak accessories to help you get the most out of your hearing. These are a few of the potential accessories your Phonak Hearing Aids may benefit from;
To connect to your television you would need to use a Phonak TV Connector which would allow you to stream the sound from your TV directly to your Hearing Aids.
With its ‘Air Stream‘ technology it delivers top rated sound quality streaming from any TV and audio system. The Connector can also simultaneously stream audio signals up to 15 meters to an unlimited amount of connected hearing aids. It has a simple plug and play interface to TV’s and audio sources with Bluetooth.
Remote Control featuring three large buttons for simple handling and maximum convenience. The Remote controls volume and Hearing Aid Programme changes.
The myPhonak App enables you to adjust your hearing aids from your smartphone if it supports Bluetooth. It also gives you a low Battery notification so you don’t have to worry about an unexpected disruption to your hearing.
Roger microphones have been developed to reduce background noise and transmit the speaker’s voice directly to hearing aids or cochlear implant sound processor.
